CityMaps2Go Pro Offline Maps App Reviews

The developers have known about this issue for years, yet theyre apparently not technically competent enough to fix it. The issue is: it is not possible to zoom out to see a whole country - let alone multiple countries. Not even a tiny country like Costa Rica. The furthest you can zoom out is about a 30-40 mile diameter view of any particular country. So its not possible to see where one country is in relation to another, or even where one city is in relation to another within the same country. Ridiculous. Get "Pocket Earth Pro" instead. Much, much better.

Nice app that can be used off line

We cruise a lot. Love that I can download maps for all the cities we are going to before we leave. So easy to use.

After numerous attempt to load update, it finally opened....then CRASHED, again and again and again. I liked this app and used it extensively in Europe and the Pacific Rim. Now Ive got nothing that I paid for. Please fix!

For my europe tour i had downloaded all the cities i go before and all the attractions i would love to see and it saves alot of time and very easy to use.

Used it in Japan, Germany and US and always a big help.

It finds location fast , offline.

After new update unusable on Ipad 4. Tried shutting device completely down with same results of immediate crash when first opening. Tried contacting support before leaving review but links do not lead to place to leave information do forced to leave here with negative review. I liked this app in the past although not as detailed as I would like in some locations like when visiting Bolivia. If updated to work will change review.

I used to have a lot of maps downloaded. Somehow with an update or so they are all gone so I have to start all over. I have no time for this kind of poor quality. Sorry.

Dont fix something that isnt broken. I deliver pizza and this used to be my go to app. Great maps. Faster than gog or apple and no need for service.. It was also wonderful when traveling to cities with bad tmobile coverage... Now its so clunky and unbearable. Stop trying to yelpify this app pls go back to being the fastest and best offline map on the market ..

Last update lost all my maps ... VERY poor. Now that Google offers offline maps thats where I will be turning.

Latest update does not install. It freezes during install and not able to use the program

It was fun for a while, but then I discovered Pocket Earth

I used the old version all over the world. This version tries to do too much for the sake of making money. The interface isnt intuitive. Its hard to move the pins. I hope they improve.

Nice to have this app handy and download places I am travelling to. Helps me prepare for my trips and provides information once Im there

I have been very pleased using this app. Its saved me a lot of headaches.

Really accurate maps that are updated frequently. Best part is how fast their server is when you need to get a map for a new city.

The maps are easy to download and very complete. Lots of extras too like city guides, restaurants, hotels etc. Not quite as good as Google for directions though.

Im getting really tired of all the updates. This is not the off-line map I signed up for a while back. All the places Id visited in the past are now green dots and yellow dots and other silly colors. What happened to the actual names Id typed up when I saved them? I want to be able to find my hotel on the map so I can find my way back when I venture out in Shanghai or Tokyo or Dubai, etc.. Instead I see my hotel under pink dots.. So what? Still cant find the dang hotel on the map?? Im so frustrated! There should be a feature where a person can refuse more "upgrades". I just want the city-maps-2-go the way they used to be. User-friendly! ..and drop the silly Ulmon Pro something on your logo. This is a MAP app and the logo should include that specific word.. Im frustrated beyond belief...

Before finding this app, I was worried about how to use a navigation app without having an active internet connection. City Maps 2Go works flawlessly, detects my location quickly and although downloaded maps are not accurate, they are good enough to help me find my way through the city.
