My marked places disappeared on the new map

I use this app for visual directions and love it for the real time pointer letting me know if Im going in the correct direction. But since the update, my previously saved locations can no longer be seen on the main map. I cant find the way to make the saved locations appear on the map. Whats the point of looking at where you are and where youre going when you cant no longer see the destination?
